FAQ's – Walks on the Weekend
1. How many dogs are on a walk?
We keep group walks small – max 2 client dogs plus Beira. This ensures each dog gets plenty of attention and I can manage everyone safely.
2. How do I book a walk?
All walks start with a 30-minute Intro Walk, where I meet you and your dog. Once we’ve met, you can request dates for group adventures via email or our enquiry form.
3. My dog isn’t very social. Can they still join?
Intro Walks help me assess your dog’s behaviour and comfort. Some dogs do better in solo or small group walks, and I’ll advise what’s best.
4. What if my dog has special needs?
Dogs with injuries, mobility issues, or other special requirements can be considered for solo walks. Just mention this when you enquire.
5. How long are the walks?
-
Big Adventure: 4–5 hours including travel and hiking
-
Field & Forest: 2–3 hours including travel and hiking
6. What should I bring?
Just your dog’s lead, harness and collar, and any extra items they need (like a coat or boots).
I provide water for dogs during and post walks.
7. Can I book multiple walks a week?
Yes! Availability is limited to keep groups small, but I can usually accommodate multiple bookings after your Intro Walk.
8. What if the weather is bad?
Walks go ahead in most weather. I’ll contact you if extreme conditions mean a walk isn’t safe.
9. Can I join my dog on the walk?
No, group walks are led by me and Beira. This ensures dogs remain focused, safe, and well-managed.
10. What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Last-minute cancellations are not refundable.
